Trek 1 heads north from Dryleaf and takes a sharp bend into the sand dunes west towards Tumbleweed Town. Until you reach the bend the soil is dry but sturdy with cacti and various desert plants popping up through cracks in the earth, but the dunes are slippery and the road is merely a strong red rope tied by totems that travelers must follow. In the cool season, the wind blows heartily to make up for the sun's harsh rays, and rain will occasionally fall. It is recommended a bandana or other piece of garb be worn over your mouth whilst you travel through the dunes. Sunglasses are also a commodity.
