Anywhere outside your house and the laboratory is considered the Town Square. Again, it is optional you post on this board if you'd like to start immediately at the laboratory, but if you're leaving home, you won't just appear there, and this is where you can give a short description of your travels. The roads are not paved, by the by, and any trees you might wish to describe cannot be flourishing, but they do not have to be deceased.
